Reality Check XF — Test Ajax-enabled Web Applications, Quickly And Easily

Gomez Reality Check XF™ is the first solution for cross-browser, functional testing of Ajax-enabled applications. Reality Check XF allows you to load scripts of business transactions recorded using the leading open source Web testing framework, Selenium™.
Once loaded into the system, these scripts can be played back manually or on a scheduled basis against the desired combination of browsers and operating systems. In addition to providing a pass/fail determination of the Web application's functionality, Reality Check XF captures screen shots and movies of each test.
This unique capability lets you see precisely how an end user would experience the application, which is critical for Ajax-enabled and other Web 2.0 type applications.

The key benefits of Reality Check XF are:
- Playback scripts across multiple systems and browsers
- Easily import and export scripts developed using the Selenium toolkit
- Communicate problems quickly and easily with screen shots and movie captures of functional tests
- Improve maintainability and reuse scripts by refactoring common portions of application functionality
How RealityCheck XF works
Reality Check XF is powered by the Gomez Experience First platform and consists of a network of machines running the most popular actual operating systems and browsers. To use Reality Check XF, users leverage Selenium scripts created using the open source Selenium IDE tool. Scripts are created and then uploaded into Reality Check. These tests can be run for the selected combinations of browser, operating system, and screen size. Reality Check XF sends the tests out to the appropriate machines on the network on a pre-determined schedule, or on demand, and returns test results to the Experience First portal.
