Many companies, who are new to Web site performance improvement, may not know exactly where to start or how to develop a plan. They lose critical time by focusing on less productive activities or by not building an appropriate foundation. The JumpStart XF Service Program helps you quickly develop a plan by following the same best practices as performance leaders. The program takes advantage of the performance expertise Gomez has developed in helping hundreds of clients create disciplined approaches to performance improvement, without having to reinvent the wheel.

The JumpStart Program is a 30-day professional services engagement comprised of three distinct phases:

Performance Jumpstart & Goal Review
The JumpStart XF Service Program kick-off meeting reviews the engagement objectives and begins a fast-track requirements-gathering and execution process. This one-hour conference call meeting includes a Gomez Professional Services Engagement Manager, Account Representative, and your designated business and technical representatives. Key stakeholders will be identified and their interests and objectives will be represented and considered at this meeting, though their direct participation may not be required.

Methodology Assessment
The methodology assessment begins soon after the planning meeting and typically spans five business days. Using data collected from the ExperienceFirst™ Network, Gomez Performance Services consultants will analyze and look for potential improvement areas around the following topics:

Benchmarking
Problem Identification
SLA Management
Event Notification

Plan Definition
The plan definition phase lasts one week. During this time, Gomez will help you define a performance improvement plan and the steps necessary to move the plan forward. Deliverables include:

A report identifying short and long-term improvements
Recommended enhancements to testing methodology
